Opening party for Orbitals by Lena von Goedeke

As the polar night sets in, we turn our gaze up to the sky and down towards the ground. Join us in doing this as we celebrate the opening of Lena von Goedeke’s solo exhibition Orbitals, at Nordover Art Centre on the 28th of November.

✨There will be food, drinks, music and good times.

What happens to our sense of time, space and human interaction when nothing is fixed? The artist and Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum invite you to enter the exhibition, which is inspired by an industrial cold storage, where nature and satellite technology meet. Through new moving image works and tactile installations containing ice samples and lava composite, the exhibition casts a critical look at the material and cultural aspects of Svalbard.
